Speaker and Talks
Physical development for young children
Helen Battelley, internationally renowned consultant, trainer, author and speaker in physical activity/movement play in early education, talks to us about the sensory motor movement of 9-month-old to 3-year-old children. Exploring the reflexes and senses, Helen will give us a stronger understanding of how we can support the physical development of the youngest children.
Reducing debt risk: Effective conversations and legal safeguards
Join Gary Harrison, from Morton Michel for an informative session designed specifically for Childminders and Nannies. We’ll discuss practical strategies to help manage difficult conversations with parents and establish robust policies to reduce the risk of unpaid childcare fees, ultimately protecting your business.
Fireside chat: Providers sharing their experiences
We sit down with the childminder lead and group setting lead from the local Stronger Practice Hub to hear about their experiences of running their childcare businesses. The highs and lows, the challenges and the rewards. This is always such an engageing discussion, knowing you are not going through it alone and you are part of a community!
