Our partners Morton Michel have access to home insurance from a panel of home insurers who can provide cover for our members delivering childcare and/or learning from their home.

Optional sections of cover can be chosen, at an additional cost, when purchasing your insurance which include:

Home emergency cover- As a homeowner, you can cover yourself for an emergency relating to plumbing and heating (domestic power supply), excludes cover for solar heating systems and heating systems 15 years or older.

Accidental damage- You can extend the cover to include accidental damage cove ron buildings and contents, this will cover damage caused by children that are childminder but doesnt cover for damage caused by wear and tear or anythign that happens over time and cover for contents in the open or while the home is unoccupied or unfurnished.

Legal cover- Legal cover in case a claim is brought against your business by staff or customers, providing the claim has a reasonable chance of success.

Motor insurance

Our partners Morton Michel have access to motor insurance from a panel of home insurers who can provide cover for our members with the appropriate business use for your childcare business including the transportation of children in your care, for cars, vans and minibuses (Minibuses/ vehicles up to 17 seats).

Optional sections of cover can be chosen, at an additional cost, when purchasing your insurance which include:

Breakdown cover- To get your vehicle to a garage in the event of a breakdown including the cost of work undertaken at a garage.

Legal cover- In case a claim is brought against your business by staff or customers, providing the claim has a reasonable chance of success.

No claims discount- Protect your no claims discount in the event of a claim, subject to already having 3 or more years no claims discount.
