First aid training is not only a mandatory requirement for registered childcare professionals, it saves lives.
We work with paediatric first aid training specialists Tigerlily Training, to provide a course that’s suitable for home-based childcarers.
The 12 hour course combines one day of tutor-led training with six hours interactive e-learning. The Blended Full Paediatric Course covers all elements of the Emergency Paediatric Course during the trainer-led practical day and our eLearning module contains only the additional content required to gain the Full Paediatric First Aid Qualification.
Safeguarding training
If you work with children, you have a responsibility to help to protect them. You must be aware of your roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding, child protection and the welfare of children. Children are vulnerable and rely on adults to help them to feel safe and secure. You have a responsibility to ensure that children are able to grow and develop in a safe and stimulating environment.
The PACEY safeguarding course has been designed to help you meet your responsibilities and is fully endorsed by CACHE. It will help ensure you have the confidence to recognise, respond to and refer a child for further help if you should have any concerns.
If you sign up for the HBCA course with The Childcare Company you get Free PACEY membership which means you can purchase the course at the discounted price of £9.99 saving you £10!
