Cambridgeshire Forest School fun

On Thursday 20 March childminders, assistants and children gathered at Milton Country Park in Cambridgeshire for a morning of Forest School activities. The event was organised between the PACEY team in Cambridgeshire and the East of England Stronger Practice Hub.

40 childminders, their assistants and over one hundred children took part in wood craft, created art pits, gathered nature collections, and enjoyed mud and clay play and den building. Everyone who attended also received a fantastic goody bag of natural resources supplied by the Stronger Practice Hub team. We are hoping to do further events with the team from the Stronger Practice Hub in Cambridgeshire so watch this space!

“It was lovely to see you today and to see such a great turn out of like-minded professionals and their children, such a treat to have the sunshine for us too!”

“Just wanted to say thank you all so much for this morning! The kids were super happy (especially once they had eaten!) clearly having had a fab time! Mucky ‘S’ absolutely loved this morning! Thank you to you and the whole team for your hard work in making this morning so enjoyable.”
